Middle-Of-Night Wakeup: the 90-second preparation

Waking at night does not have to mean losing the whole night.

1 · Arrive — 30 seconds

Breathe with Global using the Middle-Of-Night Wakeup pattern: Inhale 3s · exhale 6s · hold 2s. The coach video and the music follow every inhale and exhale, so you do not have to count.

2 · Rehearse — 45 seconds

  1. Picture your bedroom, dim and cool. Only middle-of-night wakeup is left to do.
  2. Let the last thoughts of the day float past like boats on a river.
  3. Feel your jaw, shoulders and hands grow heavy and warm.
  4. See tomorrow morning: you wake up rested and unhurried.
  5. Nothing else to do. Only the long, slow exhale.

3 · Anchor — 15 seconds

Let both hands fall open. Say quietly: “Enough.” In the real moment, repeat the gesture and one long exhale to recall the prepared state.

Afterwards — the check-in

AHΞHA asks you later how it went: worse, as expected, or better. Your answers build your personal proof record.

Why mental rehearsal

Athletes, surgeons and musicians have used imagery for decades: vividly imagining an action engages many of the same brain networks as doing it, and slow exhales shift the body toward its calming (parasympathetic) branch. AHΞHA packs both into one short, repeatable ritual. It is a preparation tool, not a medical treatment.
