Travel Recovery: the 90-second preparation
For recovering after flights, long drives, disrupted schedules, or demanding travel days. The small hold-out creates a reset point between travel stress and genuine rest.
1 · Arrive — 30 seconds
Breathe with Jasmin using the Travel Recovery pattern: Inhale 4s · exhale 6s · hold 2s. The coach video and the music follow every inhale and exhale, so you do not have to count.
2 · Rehearse — 45 seconds
- Picture travel recovery. Feel your feet on the ground and your spine long.
- Scan from head to toes. Wherever there is tension, exhale into it.
- See your body moving with ease and good form.
- If discomfort shows up, you breathe and adjust — no force.
- See yourself afterwards: lighter, warmer, more awake.
3 · Anchor — 15 seconds
Roll your shoulders back once. Say quietly: “Light.” In the real moment, repeat the gesture and one long exhale to recall the prepared state.
Afterwards — the check-in
AHΞHA asks you later how it went: worse, as expected, or better. Your answers build your personal proof record.
Why mental rehearsal
Athletes, surgeons and musicians have used imagery for decades: vividly imagining an action engages many of the same brain networks as doing it, and slow exhales shift the body toward its calming (parasympathetic) branch. AHΞHA packs both into one short, repeatable ritual. It is a preparation tool, not a medical treatment.
