Conagra Brands CAG's FY26 EPS Estimates on the Edge Amidst Q3 Earnings Miss and Upcoming Dividend Payment
Conagra Brands (NYSE:CAG) is tipped to pay a $0.35 dividend continuing its 49-years dividend legacy. However, the brand's FY26 EPS estimates are likely to be missed, according to Barclays, who also gave a new price target of $29.00. This has triggered several analyst advisories including a recommendation to play defensively amidst market volatility. The frozen food giant has been facing headwinds as indicated by a SWOT analysis. Its Q3 2025 earnings, even though buoyed by strong consumer demand, fell short of expectations. This poor performance triggered various movements in the market with several asset management firms either selling, decreasing, investing, or cutting their stake in the company. Meanwhile, Massachusettes Financial Services invested a whopping $110.70 million. However, despite its Q3 earning resulting and revenue lagging estimates, its stock price took a 2.7% hike. Bad news is, its weak fundamentals could signal a downturn. The company also made a collaborative effort with Bloom Energy to engage in fuel cell technology at its Ohio production facilities. Still, its Q3 earnings fell short of expectations, this resulted in it trimming its 2025 profit forecast owing to supply constraints.
