Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE), owner of NYSE, recently saw
CEO Jeffrey C. Sprecher sell 150,000 shares and later 66,575 shares. Meanwhile, the company has strengthened its
climate analytics offerings and has expanded data streams with
Chainlink. This partnership is geared toward bringing high-quality forex and precious metals data onchain. Other financial movements include
Sei Investments purchasing 5,449 ICE shares and Azimuth Capital and Entropy Technologies divesting from the stock.
In further expansion efforts, ICE is reportedly in talks to acquire
Enverus for $6 billion. This acquisition will reinforce ICE's mortgage tech capabilities. ICE has also posted an
$851M profit in Q2 2025 and raised its revenue guidance. The organization is now in talks of a
$6B Enverus acquisition and has integrated real-time data for FX markets and precious metals with Chainlink.
Other advancements include Private companies now being able to access climate risk data and ICE planning to launch U.S. Tech Index and introduce other NYSE-listed indices.
