Bunge Global S.A. has had a mixed track record in the market recently, as it outperforms competition on some days, and underperforms on others. The stock is currently underperforming the Consumer Defensive Sector. Major shareholder Virtu Financial LLC has just acquired 6,419 shares whereas HighTower Advisors LLC sold 8,192 shares. Bunge's fundamentals are solid, but its stock has declined, possibly due to market misunderstanding. It recently announced the pricing of $2.0 billion senior notes offering although it hit a new 1-year low. Bunge's intended merger is noteworthy despite falling revenues. It saw an earnings per share at $1.56 and revenue hit $9 with a Q3 profit decreasing. It issued a dividend amounting to $0.68 per share but saw its stock hit 52-week lows several times recently. Apart from financial indicators, Bunge was successful in obtaining 100% Soy supply chain traceability, positioning it well for responsible and transparent operations. Yet, the quarterly profit miss led to an 8% slide in share value. Progress towards its Viterra deal encountered a delay and the expected completion is pushed to 2025. Recently, Bunge announced plans to change its place of incorporation from Bermuda to Switzerland.
