CME Group Marks Record Open Interest and Volume; Launches Bitcoin Trading & Expands Energy Products
E-mini S&P 500, Copper, NY Harbor ULSD, Soybean and 10-Year T-Note futures showcased an overview, while CME Group had record open interest and volume in its adjusted interest rate total return futures. CME Group is launching corporate bonds and mortgage-backed securities on BrokerTec Quote trading platform. They are also set to launch E-mini S&P 500 equal weight futures on February 26. The profit of CME Group exceeded expectations due to rising US Treasuries-related derivatives demand.
