Electronic Arts (EA) continues to establish its dominance in the gaming industry through partnerships, launch of new games and venturing into new areas like
esports and generative AI. Recent strategic collaborations with
Xfinity and Peacock are development steps for EA SPORTS FC™ 25 and EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile. EA SPORTS views
fandom as the future of football and has doubled down on this with their rebrand. Despite declining net revenue, EA remains confident in their annual booking and upcoming ‘Battlefield’ release. Their recent accomplishments include the one-year anniversary celebration of EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile, the worldwide release of
EA SPORTS™ NHL® 25 and the revelation of Jude Bellingham as the cover star of EA SPORTS FC™ 25. However, not everything has been positive as EA recently laid off 5% of their workforce.
AI is being considered fundamental for EA's business strategy, with ongoing development in creating a generative AI which is intended to be one of their cornerstones. Also, the game 'EA Sports FC 25' was officially launched for PC, PlayStation 5 & 4, Xbox Series X/S & One.
EA has also announced the end of a 12-year journey with 'The Simpsons: Tapped Out' game, which is expected to end in 2025.
