Forsta AP Fonden acquired 40,400 shares. Various price target adjustments were made by Barclays, Mizuho, and Wells Fargo, who all lowered their targets for the EQR stock. However, the apartment sector continues to experience recovery, a fact reflected in Equity Residential's FFO jump of 3.1%. Moreover, Equity Residential outlined an ambitious acquisition plan involving a $1 billion apartment portfolio from
Blackstone. Jim Cramer labeled the EQR stock as 'Amazing' and a 'Total Winner' while Equity Residential also earned an inclusion on UBSβs list of stocks for the AI, Growth, & Low Rates Era. The company also issued $600 million in notes due 2034. On another note, tenants are demanding $700M, alleging illegal rent hikes. The REIT is yet to release its Q4 2024 earnings, and investors are eagerly awaiting the results and further moves in their strategic acquisitions.
