MSCI Inc has seen its stock jump by 8.5% due to expansion into ESG solutions. Indonesian stocks are, however, worried about MSCI's weighting changes. MSCI's stock is currently trading up and seems robust after their third-quarter profit rise on high demand for index products. The company has also revised its 2025 guidance.
Strs Ohio and
Creekmur Asset Management LLC have significantly increased their respective positions in MSCI. Furthermore, the company has successfully priced $500M senior unsecured notes due 2036 and its Q3 earnings have beat estimates while revenues increased YoY, positively impacting shares. Despite the strengthening moat, MSCI saw a variety of sales and purchases by
different lucrative firms. In addition to strong Q3 earnings, MSCI is driving its growth through the introduction of AI tools for private markets along with the global equity index target set by
Citigroup. However,
Fisher Funds Management LTD and a few others have reduced their stake in MSCI. Meanwhile, the company has announced an attractive
share repurchase program.
