Flight: the 90-second preparation

A 90-second ritual to prepare for your flight: breathe with a coach, rehearse the moment in your mind, and set an anchor you can recall on the spot.

1 · Arrive — 30 seconds

Breathe with Lee using the Anxiety pattern: Inhale 4s · hold 1s · exhale 6s. The coach video and the music follow every inhale and exhale, so you do not have to count.

2 · Rehearse — 45 seconds

  1. Picture your flight: the gate, the seat, the sounds around you.
  2. See yourself settle in — feet flat, hands resting.
  3. A bump or a delay comes. You exhale long and let it pass.
  4. Choose your focus: music, a book, the breath.
  5. See yourself arriving, calm and ready for what comes next.

3 · Anchor — 15 seconds

Rest both hands on your thighs. Say quietly: “Safe.” In the real moment, repeat the gesture and one long exhale to recall the prepared state.

Afterwards — the check-in

AHΞHA asks you later how it went: worse, as expected, or better. Your answers build your personal proof record.

Why mental rehearsal

Athletes, surgeons and musicians have used imagery for decades: vividly imagining an action engages many of the same brain networks as doing it, and slow exhales shift the body toward its calming (parasympathetic) branch. AHΞHA packs both into one short, repeatable ritual. It is a preparation tool, not a medical treatment.
