The beauty retailer Berkshire Hathaway took a stake in Ulta, increasing its visibility. The company has made partnerships like the multi-branded beauty collaboration with Universal Pictures’ Wicked, as well as on-demand delivery of beauty products with DoorDash. However, it had to lower its annual forecasts due to slowing demand for beauty products while TD Cowen has also downgraded the company citing medium-term difficulties. Despite this, Ulta Beauty optimistic about its growth with new launches and increased digital strategies.
